September 2014 Gaza ceasefire violations summary –  from ‘In Occupied Palestine’ PHRC report 9 October 2014;

Main source of statistics: Palestinian Monitoring Group (PMG). Note: as there was no PMG situation report available for the first day of September, this summary covers September 2 to 30 inclusive.
02 September:
Israeli Army attack – 2 wounded (1 critical): Qalqilya – 16:30, Israeli forces in north Qalqilya opened fire on a vehicle carrying several labourers, wounding and hospitalising two workers: Mohammad Na’im Sabri Mansour (critical head wounds) and Othman Amr.
Israeli Navy attack – economic sabotage: Northern Gaza – 07:50, the Israeli Navy opened fire on Palestinian fishing boats off al-Waha, north-west Beit Lahiya.
Israeli Navy attack – economic sabotage: Northern Gaza – 20:00, the Israeli Navy again opened fire on Palestinian fishing boats off al-Waha, north-west Beit Lahiya.
Israeli Navy attack – hijacking – fishermen taken prisoner – economic sabotage: Northern Gaza – 06:40, the Israeli Navy yet again opened fire on Palestinian fishing boats off al-Waha, north-west Beit Lahiya, hijacked a fishing boat and took prisoner two crew members.
Israeli Army attack: Gaza – afternoon, an Israeli Army position behind the Green Line opened fire on residents in east Khaz’aa.
03 September:
Israeli Army attack – agricultural sabotage: Rafah – morning, the Israeli Army stormed the al-Nahda neighbourhood in east Rafah and bulldozed crops.
07 September:
Israeli Navy attack – economic sabotage: Northern Gaza – morning, the Israeli Navy opened fire on Palestinian fishing boats off al-Sudaniya.
11 September:
Israeli Navy attack – economic sabotage: Northern Gaza – morning, the Israeli Navy opened fire on Palestinian fishing boats off al-Sudaniya.
12 September:
Israeli Navy attack – economic sabotage: Northern Gaza – 06:15, the Israeli Navy opened fire on Palestinian fishing boats off al-Sudaniya.
Israeli Navy attack – economic sabotage: Khan Yunis – morning, the Israeli Navy opened fire on Palestinian fishing boats off Khan Yunis.
13 September:
Israeli attack – agricultural sabotage: Khan Yunis – morning, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire on al-Qarara farmland.
14 September:
Israeli Navy attack – economic sabotage: Gaza – morning, the Israeli Navy opened fire on Palestinian fishing boats.
14 September:                                                                                                                                                                                             Palestinian missile attacks: Khan Yunis – 18:25, a number of missiles fired towards the Green Line.
17 September:
Israeli Navy attack – economic sabotage – injury: Northern Gaza – 17:00, one crew member, Jum’a Zayed, was injured when the Israeli Navy opened fire on a Palestinian fishing boat off al-Sudaniya in west Beit Lahiya.
18 September:
Israeli attack – agricultural sabotage: Khan Yunis – morning, the Israeli Army invaded east al-Qarara farmland and bulldozed crops.
22 September:
Israeli Navy attack – hijacking – economic sabotage: Gaza – 15:00, the Israeli Navy opened fire on Palestinian fishing boats offshore at Gaza, hijacked one of them and detained five fishermen: Sufyan Kalab, Mohammad Abu Odeh, Mustafa Abu Odeh, Ahmad Al-Sharif and Abdel-Rahim Abu Salameh.
24 September:
Israeli Navy attack – economic sabotage: Northern Gaza – morning, the Israeli Navy opened fire on Palestinian fishing boats off al-Sudaniya.
25 September:
Israeli Army attack – 2 wounded: Northern Gaza – 07:50, two workers, Khaled Abu Sata and Jibril Qa’uad, were wounded when Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire on people attempting to flee the Israeli blockade near the Burat Abu Samara area of north Beit Lahiya.
Israeli Army attack – 2 wounded: Northern Gaza – 11:30, two more workers, Atta Al-Hassumi and Ahmad Al-Sus, were wounded when Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire on several workers attempting to flee the Israeli blockade near Um Al-Nasser village in north Beit Lahiya.
28 September:
Israeli Army attack – wounding – agricultural sabotage: Northern Gaza – one person, Rajab Marouf, was wounded when Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire on farmers in north Beit Lahiya.
29 September:
Israeli Army attack – youngster wounded: Northern Gaza – 11:00, a 14-year-old boy, Jallal Jarrad, was wounded when Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire on workers in Um al-Nassr village, north Beit Lahiya.
Israeli Army attack – incursion – agricultural sabotage: Gaza – morning incursion, Israeli forces, including tanks accompanied by jet fighter air cover, invaded east al-Zaytoun farmland and bulldozed crops.
30 September:
Israeli Army attack – incursion – agricultural sabotage: Incursion: Israeli Army shoots its way onto Khan Yunis farmland and bulldozes crops.

    One may wonder why Israel does not join the coalition of the (not so?) willing to fight ISIS? They have a formidable army. Is it because Israel was and probably still is part of the willing (Saudi Arabia, Qatar,Yemen,Turkey) who financed and funnelled arms to the terrorist rebels fighting Assad trying to topple the Syrian government ?
