Vatican accord overlooks that Israel is occupied Palestine

PressTV video report, 27 June, 2015

The treaty was signed by Palestinian Foreign Minister Riad al-Malki and his Vatican counterpart Archbishop Paul Gallagher. The agreement covers the issues related to the existence and activities of the Roman Catholic Church in Palestine. The treaty which is the result of 15 years of negotiations between the Palestinians and the Vatican was agreed in principle last month. Israel has expressed regret over the matter. It says signing the accord will harm efforts to renew the so-called peace talks between the Palestinian Authority and Tel Aviv. Several European parliaments have already recognized the State of Palestine. But the US and Israel oppose the recognition. PressTV asked Kia Ora Gaza’s Roger Fowler to comment.

Well said Roger, you are so right. The only sensible solution is the restoration of the ONE state within the borders of pre 1948 Palestine. UN resolution 188 was never implemented and British Palestine was conquered with overwhelming force by heavily armed immigrant terrorist gangs (the Haganah, Stern and Irgun gangs to mention a few, after 1948 amalgamated in the IDF) who even prior to May 1948 were already engaged in terrorising the indigenous population, as well as the British mandate forces.
