The biggest UK Veterans for Peace contingent ever marches to the Cenotaph on Remembrance Day, on Sunday 13 November 2016, wearing hoodies bearing the Harry Patch quote, “War is organised murder”, and carrying a banner saying “Never Again”.

Brilliant! The war to end all wars in 1914 was soon forgotten by the late 1930s and even after the Second World War with its horrific atomic conclusion, the world’s first for war has not been slaked. Now, with Trump in the driving seat and Israel pushing for an attack on Iran this may be the next bloody scenario to add to the carnage of Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria. When will we have a veterans for peace March to the War Memorial in Canberra?
