The killing of four children by Israel in Gaza last week was not an isolated case or a mistake. Israel killed 1,105 children and minors*in Gaza since 2008. This violence is inherent to the imposition of an apartheid regime.

*Additionally, 62 minors who participated in hostilities were killed by Israel in Gaza during this time, as well as 15 minors whose participatory status is unknown.

B’Tselem is the most prominent and highly respected human rights organisation in Israel.
